Meet the F-works team:
Stephen King
Steve, managing director of F-works, has been helping entrepreneurs grow businesses for the last twelve years. During that time he’s started five businesses of his own and sold two of them (making his share of mistakes, and learning a lot in the process). Prior to escaping corporate life he spent five years working in the food and drink sector and three years in the retail sector. He is a Chartered Accountant, has an MBA from Warwick Business School, and is co-author of ‘Finance on a Beermat’ the best selling book on finance for entrepreneurs.

Antony Clark
Antony is a director of F-works with loads of experience of contributing to the growth of small – medium sized businesses. He loves delving into the inner workings to see how cash is generated and working with the MD to generate more. He has a degree in Agriculture and started out in the food sector, spending ten years in Tate & Lyle at the beginning of his career. He ran his own business before joining F-works and has filed a patent application for an invention he came up with (which is currently being worked on by designers). He is a Chartered Management Accountant.

Simon Bruce
Simon has been a member of the F-works team since 2009. Over the past 30 years he has worked in a broad range of businesses, some of which he continues to have an interest in, and enjoys working with management teams to unlock potential within the venture. He believes the best businesses are not only successful at the bottom line, they also offer a creative and enjoyable environment for those involved in them. Simon is a Chartered Accountant and F-works’ expert on technical accounting issues.
Paul King
Paul King
Paul, (no relation to Steve) is a business, leadership and performance coach, trained in a variety of approaches to developing people and their talent. He specialises in helping business owners, directors and senior managers be the best they can be in pursuit of their goals and in handling the challenges that come their way. He usually works alongside other members of our team and understands financial issues being a Chartered Accountant who spent his early career working for top accountancy firms.
DO SMITH
Steve and Antony are also directors of DO SMITH, a not-for-profit company, which harnesses the talents of entrepreneurs to help social enterprises achieve commercial success.
